Good News Ministries

Located in the middle of the most economically depressed area of Indianapolis, this mission, started in 1950 to meet the needs of homeless men, now reaches out in many more ways. Homeless families now receive shelter and aid, and area children benefit from after-school tutoring, meals, and a Life Skills program.

Invotech helps provide computer hardware and software for the tutoring and job skills lab, in addition to financial donations.

World Police & Fire Games

The World Police & Fire Games is an Olympic-style event held every two years. The Games were designed to promote and recognize physical fitness and global police and fire communities. The commitment of police officers and fire fighters to achieve peak physical conditioning helps better prepare them to serve the public. The Games also serve the community by strengthening the relationship between between police officers and fire fighters.

Invotech's role in assisting the Games' non-profit organizing committee with various technology implementations has been broad-reaching. Complete design and development of their extensive and dynamic website was our favorite part!

Boy Scouts of America

Invotech gladly gives financial support and use of other company resources for this highly effective organization. The BSA has maintained its much-deserved respect among citizens worldwide because of its dedication to assisting parents in strengthening character, developing good citizenship, and enhancing personal fitness in youth.

Two of our company's employees volunteer as leaders in the local Scout Pack. They receive bonus time off from work for preparing for and carrying out their special duties, making a real impact in the lives of young boys in our community.

Riley Hospital for Children

As the 10th largest children's hospital in the nation, Riley is on the cutting edge of technology. It is the only children's hospital in Indiana that performs kidney, liver, heart and bone marrow transplants. Riley also is the home to Indiana's only pediatric burn center. They treat all children from Indiana needing care, regardless of their family's financial situation, and they receive no direct state aid.

In addition to work donated at the RCA Championships, which helps provide financial support to the hospital, employees of Invotech and their families visit and take gifts to children at the hospital. Proceeds from our special company fundraiser each year is donated to the Riley Cheer Guild which gives over 3,000 toys monthly, free transportation, and other direct benefits to the children.

Johnson County Community Network

JCCN is a vital part of connecting Johnson County to the world through the use of Internet Technologies. Coordinating local school systems, libraries, government and businesses, JCCN is the central link to putting Johnson County on the 'technology map,' an absolute necessity for growth in the near future.

Invotech has donated professional time in helping JCCN plan and implement its strategies for a strong community network. We are also writing an innovative new Community Calendar program which will store and display events for the entire county.

Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce

Invotech donates time and resources to the Greenwood Chamber's Technology Committee which is focused on helping small- and medium-sized community businesses understand and deal with ever-changing technology frontiers.

A new series beginning this year will provide free monthly seminars which address subjects like computer purchasing decisions, office networks, and use of internet technologies to help businesses grow and keep up with the competition.
